Request accommodations

If you have a documented disability or impairment recognized by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), you may request special accommodations to take the PEP exam. To do so, you must check the “Special Accommodations” box during the PEP registration process. Please note that we cannot add special accommodations to your exam appointment after you’ve scheduled it.

Review of accommodation requests

After your application in PSY|PRO® has been approved, ASPPB will email you requesting a physician’s note(s) (on physician’s letterhead or emailed directly from their office) detailing the reasons and or purpose of the accommodation(s) as it relates to the disability(ies). Each accommodation requested must be supported by a physician’s reason for the request. ASPPB will then approve or deny some or all the accommodations.

Once your accommodations have been approved and confirmed by ASPPB, you will then be able to select a testing location, time, and three (3) dates you wish to sit for the exam. Your exam will then be scheduled by Kryterion, and you will be notified.

You will not be able to schedule your PEP exam until we’ve completed the accommodations review process.
