The Revised Model Act and Regulations for the Licensure and Registration of Psychologists are open for Public Comment through September 28th, 2026.
On September 9th, 2026, from 5 to 7 p.m. EST, the Association of State and Provincial Psychology Boards® (ASPPB) hosted a Virtual Town Hall Meeting to discuss the revised Model Act for Licensure and Registration of Psychologists and the Model Regulations for Licensure and Registration of Psychologists.
Developed by the Model Act and Regulations Committee (MARC), these documents offer proposed language designed to help jurisdictions strengthen the regulation of the practice of psychology, protect the public, and address the evolving landscape of psychology licensure across jurisdictions.
