Now Open: Participate in ASPPB’s PEP Job Analysis Survey

Your expertise will help ensure the Psychopharmacology Examination for Psychologists (PEP)® accurately reflects contemporary practice.

The Association of State and Provincial Psychology Boards (ASPPB)® is conducting a job analysis study for the Psychopharmacology Examination for Psychologists (PEP). This study will be used to ensure the examination assesses the knowledge currently required for the practice of psychologists with prescriptive authority. The information provided will be used to revise the examination blueprint and develop future versions of the PEP. 

ASPPB invites individuals with the knowledge needed or trained to practice psychology with prescriptive authority to participate in the PEP Job Analysis. Responses are vital to ensure this study accurately represents contemporary practice.

About the Study

The survey will take approximately 30 minutes to complete. It may be completed at once, or if you need to stop at any time, you can return later; responses are saved as you complete the survey, as long as the same device and browser are used. To return to the survey, simply follow the link provided below. The survey will close at 8 PM EDT on August 27, 2026.

In addition, the State Psychology Association of New Mexico (SPA-NM) is offering a $25 discount for their conference to SPA-NM members who complete the survey.
