Score transfer
When you take either the EPPP (Part 1–Knowledge) or the EPPP (Part 2–Skills) exam, your fee includes automatic registration of your score with the ASPPB Score Transfer Service (STS). We retain a permanent record of your score(s) and automatically report your latest exam score to the licensing authority where you are seeking initial licensure. We typically report your score within 10 business days after you complete an exam.
At your request, we will report your EPPP scores to other state and provincial licensing boards when you seek a license or certification in a new region. We also will report any disciplinary sanctions that have been reported to ASPPB’s Disciplinary Data System by one of our member psychology boards.
EPPP score transfer options
When you request a score transfer to a new licensing authority, you have two options:
- Standard EPPP Score Transfer Service—takes approximately four weeks from the date of your request and costs $85 per jurisdiction.
- Expedited EPPP Score Transfer Service—takes approximately five business days from the date of your request and costs $115 per jurisdiction.
Score transfers are free for E. Passport, Interjurisdictional Practice Certificate (IPC)®, and Certificate of Professional Qualification in Psychology (CPQ)® account holders.
Transfer your score using PSY|PRO®
If you have a PSY|PRO® account, you can request an EPPP score transfer using the PSY|PRO® portal. Your EPPP score(s) will appear in the system within 10 business days after you complete an exam. Note that when you access PSY|PRO® for the first time, you must register as a new user. If you’re not a PSY|PRO® member, sign up now.
