Retake Process

If your Examination for Professional Practice in Psychology (EPPP)® (Part 1–Knowledge) exam score does not meet the requirements of the licensing authority where you are seeking licensure, you will need to contact them to request a retake. Requirements for retakes vary from licensing authority to licensing authority. Some licensing authorities have rules related to retakes, such as waiting periods or additional requirements. Regardless of each jurisdiction’s limits, the Association of State and Provincial Psychology Boards (ASPPB)® has a limit that you may not take the exam more than four times in any rolling  12-month periodContact your desired jurisdiction directly for specific requirements and approval to retake the exam.

Once you are able to retake the exam, login to the ASPPB EPPP Portal hosted by Certemy. Then, enter the workflow for the exam you wish to retake and follow the instructions.
